I’m so happy 😄

When I first started at Safeline I was very shy and I didn’t really want to talk to them but after the first week of going I had gained so much confidence.

I then joined in on another song writing course where a load of us all joined to get her to write a song that had a meaning. After a lot of group discussions, we come up with the quote go to friend. From that we built on it and we started to get working. Safeline invited Star Project – a drama company, to come and help us put it together. We met Jo the owner of the company. She was lovely  and we all got along very well. Jo also bought her dad who is a professional music producer. He taught us how to sing and play ukulele. After we had wrote the song we all came back the term after and made a music video to it to try and show some of the problems us young people can face but after some thinking we decided that not all of us wanted to be put on the internet.

So from that Jo got some of her actors to act out and play our roles on camera. It was a lovely experience to have fun and laugh with everyone else but to also think about the rest. Why we were doing all of it.

The song has now been finished and is called go to friend it would be grate if u could go and listen to it because everyone has made it for you to listen to and enjoy it wasn’t grate fun and I hope to be with Safeline again soon.
